Country Experience: Canada

Late in 2015 we visited Northern Saskatchewan, land of the world's biggest tar sands and uranium operations.  Our task was to evaluate a new uranium project, Patterson Lake South, specifically the "Triple R" deposit.  We flew from Vancouver to Fort McMurray in Alberta, then by helicopter, 45 minutes across the snow clad Saskatchewan border and on to the site of the project at Patterson Lake.
