Penjom Gold Project

Australian engineers Lycopodium Pty Ltd completed a feasibility study on the Penjom Malaysian gold project, later leading to project construction and commissioning.

JSD was involved in some of the mine design and production scheduling on this project, and has had an advisory role, from time to time, ever since.

Another project visited and evaluated in the same region was the Raub tailings re-treatment property, controlled at the time by junior miner, Wells Gold.

Project Litmus - a new float on the Singapore Stock Exchange of a limestone business

During 2014,  work commenced on the float on a new listed limestone mining entity on the SGX.  The owners had two limestone operations located a short car drive from Ipoh, producing high quality calcined products.  The work involved preparation and management of a feasibility study, a competent person's report and a mine valuation - all required as part of the listing rules of the stock exchange for a new public offering.
