Country Experience: Sweden
JSD has had fieldwork experience in northern Sweden, assessing uranium deposits for potential economic exploitation. Sweden is a proud mining country - the number one producer of Ag, Cu and Pb in the EU15. It also possesses 15% of the world's known uranium resources. It has 10 operating nuclear plants producing 50% of the nation's electricity needs.
